This course ensures that your team will learn and intimately understand how Polarion works. The training covers typical every-day scenarios in the life of different team members.
You will understand how to realize typical common use cases such as:
- Creating work items
- Collaborating with wiki and email
- Customizing the Polarion user interface to your needs
As developer you will learn how to link source code changes to work items that has been assigned to you. Additionally you will understand how to build your own task lists, and how to report time you have spent on jobs that have been assigned to you.
As requirements engineer you will learn how requirements can be tracked and managed inside Polarion. You will be familiar with the different ways to author requirements by using different methods of elicitation provided by Polarion. You will learn how to create or modify and reuse requirements, submit for approval, and track their adoption. Traceability is a key element to successfully manage requirements. You will learn how to manage and maintain Traceability throughout the lifecycle of a requirement.
As project manager you will learn how to use Polarion's Live Plan capabilities to manage and control your project. Additional topics covered in the training are using the roadmap, definition of milestones and keeping track of all project items through the different phases of your project.
As QA/test manager you will learn how to manage and document test cases with Polarion. You will understand how you can link test cases to requirements and how related defects can be tracked in Polarion.
